Following approval by the European competition authorities, Econocom has anounced the finalization on October 28, 2010 of the acquisition of the ECS Group.
Following the signature of the final financing agreements with a banking pool headed up by BNP Paribas Fortis and ING on August 6, 2010, the parties signed the aquisition agreement on September 10, 2010.
A price of 210 million euro had initially been agreed upon. Further to ECS's payments of a 2009 dividend of 17.2 million euro, the amount ultimately paid to Société Générale by Econocom Group amounted to 192.8 million euro.
